Guild Tier Ranks
Will it ever be possible for Guild Masters to create new ranks other than Members Officer's and Guest users
This would create a bit of excitment in guilds for other users to climb the ranks such as GVG Experts and Farmer's , or give them unique names like Knights or Elite Ranger or something all sorts of other things
Such as a user has to obtain high enough rank to be able to see certain Guild amenteties.
It would create a bit of fun for players i think and guild masters promoting their members to their desired rank
Cheers

Though this probably would promote more Guild activity, making yourself known to your guild leader, it woudl also cause a lot of griefing, discrimination, etc. from the guild leader. Probably not worth it if it is subjective to the Leader's opinions.

I agree. I have also been looking for Guild Wars to implement something like this for quite some time. It would allow for some incentive for members to work to climb the ranks, and would also allow for some organization of the guild for those who are serious into say GvG PvP stuff where they can set an officer who seems to excel as the leader of that particular area as well as individual class officers who excel at different builds of their class and are willing to teach new members who are interested in learning how better to play said class. Just my two cents. Anyways, look forward to seeing this soon. TWO THUMBS UP!!! lol.

It will make guilds more developed, signed. But if it is the Leader's ability only.

How about the leader can do it for officers and the officers for members? That would be a nice compromise.

lol sorry i was just thinking about this and did a search before i posted a new thread and lo and behold i found this little sweetheart of a thread. all i know is that im my guild we basically use our officers as co guild leaders but there are people IN the guild that we would like to be shown as MORE than members because of their devotion but dont really want them as full co-guld leader. so this would be MUCH appreciated. however i do think it shoudl be GL only because it could become very chaotic if everyone had that power. however perhaps the GL could give certain tiers certain permissions... just an idea.

I have been hoping they'd do something like this. Not saying they will, but I'd love that to happen. I get really tired of only having Members and Officers...It's like..."yay... I'm an Officer...=S"

A system like this would be great, even if it is nothing more than just adding subcategories, such as "Member" and "New Member", and "Officer" and "Mini-Officer", etcetera. It will make Guilds more customizable, and Guild Wars should be very customizable.
